This is a perfect place to go with friends, but maybe not for an intimate romantic meal with a loved one. This is because Aqua Bar and Restaurant has a really lively feel and is great fun. Its not the place to go if you just want a nice quiet meal with a nice chat! The staff here do their job perfectly and are always on hand, deliver everything quickly with the minimum of fuss and are never in your face! The food is delicious and they have a good range of dishes on the menu so everyone will find something they like. We had our office Christmas meal here last year and it was fantastic. The staff couldn't be more helpful or friendly despite the pressure they were under at the time, and the food was excellent.
Prices are a bit higher than your standard restaurant, but it's well worth it, and its location right in the centre of Bristol means that you can head out to a few bars/clubs afterwards with ease.
We asked for a few "specials" as it was also one of our team's birthday, and they put on the works with balloons and a cake.

Good location, fantastic atmosphere, lively and trendy. Service impeccable. The menu seems to change every time I go, which I think is nice as it adds a bit of variation. Yet the quality is always there. My favourite is the goats cheese fritters for starters, the done to death duck and pudding club!
