I always feel disappointed walking out of a Frankie & Benny's mainly because while the menu looks really appetising, the food doesn't live up to the high expectations. That said, it's not bad, and prices are about what you'd expect to pay for this type of stuff.

The restaurant is right next door to the Vue cinema, and so it can get really busy at the weekends for a pre-movie meal, so make sure you book a table, especially if there's a crowd of you.

They provide activity books for the kids, and the service is pretty good, but it can get a bit slow when they're busy (but that goes for anywhere).

Frankie and Bennies is a really good value restaurant and a great place for friends, and a really good place for taking the kids for that birthday menu and birthday parties. The staff always seem real bubbly, and the food always seems really well prepared, quick and reasonably priced. The restaurants are also really nice, clean and ar really well themed, and waits are never long. Not bad food if your not vegetarian. its either Quorn or a bean burger. Service has been really slow on both occasions I have been. First time food was great, the second we waited over 45 mins for to burgers and it wasn't busy. The portions on the second time were a bit small.
