With the brake down of communitys in the area which were the only thing keeping local pubs alive, this one did not move with the times, even if it tried to now i fear it would be all too late. The landlord is a welcoming kind of person, but with so few customers i guess anybody walking through the doors is welcome. The decor is tired and worn, it is a museum to the hay day of local pubs, except the locals have all grown up, sold up, and moved on. Im sorry to say it may be time to shut the door on this one, but dont forget to put the cat out first.
