Review by mesh

Rating: 3.00
Tags:
In an area not famed for its gastronomical delights, L'Oasis is true to its name. Out of the dingy drinking hole desert, arises L'Oasis that you have been looking for. Decent gastropub fare with a leaning on the Mediterranean (lovely gazpacho), with very large portions and a fair wine list. They also do mid-week wine tastings and it's also a stone's throw from 54 Mile End if you fancy a dance afterwards.

Only issue - try not to sit by the door - Stepney's multitude of passing sirens is sure to put you off any romantic sentiments as they can drown out the conversation a little.
