My partner and I recently visited Ruby Menai for a romantic quiet evening to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. From the moment we walked through the door we were thoroughly looked after by the excellent waiting on staff. The food arrived promptly and was beautifully presented. The flavours were amazing and both my partner and I commented how tasty our starters were. The staff couldnt do enough for us, our wine was opened at the table and poured for us...top - ups were offered throughout the night, our plates whisked away ready for our next course, all done with the minimal disruption. Our main courses arrived, accompanied by a separate bowl of vegetables (each) which we thought was a very good idea! The main courses were simply delicious and could not be faulted. We opted for dessert as it was a special occasion, and were not disappointed! Excellent food, not to be found anywhere else in the area. Good sized portions (I always come from feeling full and that's without dessert!) Mostly reasonable food. Excellent,very young waiting on staff. Miscommunication with our large party on prices...only discovered when paying!! Found manageress rather unprofessional (even aggressive)when dealing with party members regarding final bill.
