The food is fresh and delicious (and healthy too), and thereâ¬"s an interesting selection of teas and juices to accompany your meal. Expect to pay around a tenner for a drink and a meal. Diners sit around large square tables, and thereâ¬"s never a long wait to be served (although you may queue to get in of an evening). The only downside is that it isnâ¬"t somewhere where you might spend a long drawn out evening ⬠itâ¬"s very much eat and leave. This is one of a chain of restaurants in the capital.

It's quick and the food is fresh, somewhat authentic and pretty good value and a welcome change from the likes of tired and bland Wagamama's when friends want to eat "safe". The fact there are generally always queues around dinner (post work / pre dinner) is a good sign so try to get there early and get past the annoying queue on the pavement outside.

Infamous for the queues that stretch down Wardour street any time after about 5:30pm every day, it's nevertheless worth the wait and of course if you go at a non-standard time (3pm on a Saturday afternoon is my tip) you can get a table of your choice.

Though not exactly super-cheap (and anyway, where even is in London these days, apart from Tayyabs of course) it is excellent value, and service is usually smart and knowledgeable if not overly friendly. Highly recommended.

If you go outside of peak times you can avoid the queing and sharing tables with strangers. We went last night just after 6pm and got a table by the window, which was great for people watching.
