Huge beer selection by Alwilliams26

And a good job they've done too. It has a bit of a bohemian feel to it with lots of low lighting, good selection of reclaimed furniture, heavy drapes and lots of nooks and crannies.
Come on a Friday and Saturday night however and you probably won't pick up on this as the place will be jammed and the bar at least three deep. But the choice of beer will more than make up for it. With a selection of quality German and Belgian largers (try Pauliner) as well as some great bottled beers (Duvel always hits the spot), you're also spoiled to at least two hand pumped real ales as well as beers from the Meantime brewery.
Pick a quieter day and the food is pretty good value. The home made burgers really are worth a trip for. But they run out quickly so get your order in early!

Expensive but worth it. by loyd

If you are willing to pay the extra cost though this is a fantastic venue for a casual drink. There is a good range of ales and beers on offer, and although pricey, it is worth it for the excellent staff and good atmosphere.

The staff are always friendly and service is usually fairly quick, although sometimes the pub does get slightly full, especially at weekends.

A great pub that, although slightly more expensive than others in Guildford, should not put you off paying it a visit. One of the best in Guildford.

The food is good here, especially the herefordshire steak burger, although again, can be a little pricey! Nice heated area outside, best bar in guildford!

It has become another ultra modern gastro style of pub. I do quite like the layout which is quite refreshing, although on the downside the place has lost its 'pub' feel.

Drinks range is decent, if getting a little on the expensive side. Its ok, but would not go here regularly.

Guildford has been a long time waiting for a place like the Drummond. It seems to so many thing all rolled into one ⬠upmarket with out being over priced or pretentious, whist also being quirky and having some real character about the place.

Itâ¬"s slightly out of town location means it doesnâ¬"t get over crowded or full of wankers and it seems to only attract like mined people, who like the creative ambiance and chilled atmosphere.

The Menu isnâ¬"t grand or flashy, just decent quality pub grub, cooked up in a kitchen which you can see into behind the bar ⬠which I always find abundantly reassuring.

The layout is all higgledy-piggledy which I love, and there are big comfy sofas which you can sink into with a big glass of wine (or a strawberry beer, brothers cider or what ever else takes you fancy from their huge offering of beverages) and chat about nothing for hours.

The garden area is pretty too, with phat graffiti art and pretty fairy lights, all kinda magical. I wouldnâ¬"t say itâ¬"s outa this world ⬠but defiantly a far cry from anything else youâ¬"ll find in G-ford.
