We went here last year and the best idea is to buy a joint admission ticket for both Madame Tussauds and the Planetarium since they are both popular attractions next door to each other and it will often work out cheaper. The main part of it is the very large dome which apparently is the only Planetarium in Europe that has a Digistar 2 which is the world's most advanced star projector. You sit below the dome and then an image of the night sky is projected onto it with a commentary playing to detail where you are looking and what you are looking at. The night sky takes on a whole new meaning to me now after having been taught what to see and where to look.

Was never very good to start with - now closed by kgc

Review by kgc

Rating: 1.00
Tags:
This attraction is now closed in the first place if youâ¬"re thinking of visiting it. Itâ¬"s now some sort of celebrity show in there. Having said that, I was not particularly keen on it in the first place. It was very small and did not have much information. The main show was OK and repeated every 15 minutes. However, they always interrupted all other displays to announce a new one was starting and this always irked me.
If you have time pay a visit to Greenwich to visit the newly refurbished Royal Observatory (unfortunately it is not listed on this site) ⬠good for adults and children. Lots of information, very hands-on and an all-round brilliant attraction.
