The service was fantastic and the food was hot and prompt. No complaints from any of us.

Personally I Iove dining at TGIs, the Jack Daniels menu is fantastic, particularly the chicken!&#33

The only knock against the place is itâ¬"s location ⬠right opposite Meadowhall - itâ¬"s a bit of a mission to get to from the town centre, so it could be deemed as being a bit â¬Sout of the way.⬠However, for families and shoppers on the way home, itâ¬"s the perfect stop ff.

As a previous reviewer has mentioned ⬠the menu is best described as American food, with a bit of Mexican thrown in.

Getting better... by AndyBlade75

Review by AndyBlade75

Rating: 3.00
Tags:
My first visit to this particular TGI Fridays was a couple of years ago, and it was so unashamedly awful on every single level - food, service, atmosphere, general customer service and so on, that it took the best part of three years for me to walk through the doors again. Even allowing for time, people remember poor experiences much more clearly than good, so I was kind of expecting the worst....

But, you know - it wasnt that bad. The service had improved by 100%, the food was much nicer, and the place had a much better feel to it overall.

In itself, the food is unspectacular but ok - burgers, ribs etc. On my second visit we had to wait almost no time for the food to come to the tble, putting to shame the HOUR we waited the first time around. The prices are ok for what you get, with the desserts being particularly fairly priced.

This particular TGIs has taken immesurable steps to improve itself in the few years between visits and I'd actually go as far as to say its worth a look now.

It has improved... by GeoffJLaw

The service was better the second time and the food was hotter and the steaks cooked much more like we asked for. So no complaints. Personally I quite like TGIs, maybe the food is not out of this world but you get what you ask for. If you are not sure check out the menu on their website, if you don't fancy anything, then don't go. But if you like American food, with a bit of Mexican thrown in then give it a try.

I am sure this applies to all TGI Fridays, it does to all the ones I have been to.
