City University is ideally located in London and has great links with businesses in and around the city. As an undergraduate I did not even look at City. To be honest it didn't register on my radar, but as a postgraduate student I am impressed with the vast improvement. City rates very highly for employability yet still gives you a rounded university experience.

A word of warning - if you are after a 'campus based' university experience, particularly as an undergraduate then this is not the place for you. Many students live away from the area and it's easy to feel lost but that's part of the charm.

So don't disregard City. If you are interested in studying Journalism, Law or a Social Sciences subject then look no further. Plus you've got the top rated Cass Business School.

Only 4 stars as there is no reason for complacency. City university was my second choice unviersity for studying law, and if you look at the statistics you can see why. the employment odds are very high and i was thoroughly impressed when i visited in 2007 for an open day. the lecture halls were perfect, with a mix of small studies for one on one with your lecturer to very large halls with state of the art equipment. The accomadation was what you would expect in london - very small and very expensive but you will soon be missing the student halls when you have to find a flat for yourself.
