Love or loathe them, Pizza Express restaurants are at least consistent. However this one was well short of usual standards - I usually enjoy going there, but this Pizza Express was very badly staffed - we were left waiting like lemons at the front door before someone acknowledged our presence and guided us to a table. The restaurant was also quite dirty - the white chairs had not been cleaned in a while, and the glasses were smeared and cloudy.
