One of Londons top French restaurants apparantly. There's nothing really wrong with this place, it's just on my visit the food didn't really have the "X factor" that one would expect from an establishment such as this.
I had the mackerel escabeche to start, which was most agreeable and on par with anything you'd find in Provence. But my duck leg confit with cassoulet main course was only passable, I ate it all (of course!) but really did lack a real depth and complexity of flavour, but maybe I'm being too harsh, after all we were there on a very busy evening.
