If you want to see how tall Tony Blair really is or come face to face with the pope, then it is a must see.
It is only a short walk from the baker street tube station and buses do stop near by.
You can take a mini black cab ride through london, passing through various events starting with the tudor period on the way. Do not forget the chamber of horrors, always a crowd pleaser.
It is open from 9am till 6pm most days so that gives you more than enough time to see it all. On the rides children must have an adult with them if they are under the age of 16. Plenty of half price or buy one get one free vouchers about for this.

Nearest Underground station is Baker Street. It is a museum where you can meet the wax lookalike of celebrities and famous personalities - from The Royal Family, Presidents past and present and Sports personalities to famous musicians, Hollywood actors and also Bollywood actors. They are painstakingly made to look very much like their real selves. It is a perfect place to get pictures with these stars. For the historians in you, it has a history of Madame Tussaud and how the museum came into being. There is also a very good train ride showing how London has changed over the years. I do feel that the tickets are very expensive - but then what isn't in London these days!

This means that you can spend the day sight-seeing and seeing the other (more famous) London sights and then come to Madame Tussaud's at 5 (make sure you're there at 5 to get your 'money's worth'). Last entry is at 5:30 and I was slightly worried that i would regret having to 'rush' although the website assured me that this would be plenty of time. And it was. There was plenty of time to have a look around at the wax models. I was massively fussed about going (my girlfriend was more so) however it made for a nice trip to add to the day. The wax models were fairly impressive and interesting to look at. It might be my hawk eyes but a few of the models only looked a little like the people (but hey you can guess who they're suppose to be - and i've never seen the famous people in the flesh anyway). It was a nice way to get close to the stars.

There is no doubt the skill the craftsmen who mould and create the sculptures. I have been to Madame Tussaud's several times but each time I find it genuinely bemusing but find myself in the same situation a couple of years later. Every time I visit I end taking photographs for people who've asked me to make sure I get both William and Harry in to the photo. The horror section is the only part that I find vaguely entertaining.

Most of them look so realistic that sometimes you really want to pinch it to make sure! However, some of the models i feel are not very realistic which can be a little disappointing.
Another problem with Madame Tussauds, as with other tourist attractions, is that it can get extremely busy and crowded. This is especially a problem here as so many people are taking pictures all the time. Everyone want the pic with David Beckham so you have to dart in quick and risk people walking in front of the camera.
However, this is not exactly something that can be avoided and it does not have that great an impact on your.
Over all i think it was a very enjoyable day out, even to just experience it once in your life!

It is so cool to see the famous global stars. The models look so real that is a bit weird at first but it is fun having your picture taken with all the stars. It is quite busy and crowded so that ruins the atmosphere a little bit tough. This is a great visit and is enjoyable for all ages. I would love to go again as they keep on adding new additions so I would see a few new faces. All in all it is well worth a visit if you are in London.

When you first walk in it's freaky cos they look real and it freaks you out but that was all part of the excitement. There was a big brother diary room where you can go in and "big brother" talks to you and gives you a task which you can go on to buying the dvd for £15 I believe. They were doing a talent show whith some horrendous singing but was funny. I would definantly go again.

They have simply doubled the price of a single adult to compensate for the free entry in my opinion.
Secondly some of the wax works arn't really that impressive, and i believe they should have gone for quality rather than quantity.
thirdly the eating faciluties are again ridiculously priced, with a simple drink and snack for four people reaching over the £10 mark!
Finally i found the whole experience a bit boring and couldn't see the appeal of having a photo with a waxwork as you would simply have to explain "oh no it's just me and a waxwork".

There's something for everyone - the models are not limited to current celebrities, meaning that it's aimed at all age and interest groups.

Both of us agreed at the end of the day, that we wouldn't pay the prices to go in. We found other guests to be incredibly rude, and were pushed and shoved more than we would care to be.

It's a great one-off, in my opiinion, but probably not something I would repeat.
