I was amazed to see that such a nice restaurant in Camden also has live jazz! bonus! The food is of very high standard and the staff are polite and friendly! A must when in Camden!

I have only been here once, but will definitely be going back. I had no idea it did live jazz until I got there! The singers were brilliant. They made the atmosphere incredible! And you cant beat two courses for a tenner!

We were thrilled to find live jazz music is played here every Wednesday. A very nice place to sit with friends and on that night there is a cheaper two courses for £10.00. Very reasonable and we will definitely come again.

Bar Solo is a colourful bar and restaurant located on one of the restaurant strips in Camden. It is a relaxing place for a meal or a drink, with decent cocktails - 2 for 1 during happy hour.

We have popped in a couple of times for a drink, and on one occasion a quick meal, before going to a concert at the nearby Jazz Cafe.

We were impressed with the service and food, and found it to be good value.

Situated half way down one of Camden´s busiest restaurant strips, Solo is a popular haunt for celebrities such as Michelle Pfeiffer, who used the bar for her film shoot this year!

Sip a latte and tuck into one of the large range of excellent breakfasts Bar Solo are famous for. Or enjoy lunch from the delicious modern European menu. The Chef always ensures there are fab specials available daily too.

Dinner is served from 5pm seven days a week. The place buzzes with a young, stylish crowd getting in the mood for a night out or a private party downstairs at the subterranean party venue, Colour.

Chef´s Speciality Dish:

Pan fried Red Snapper fillet on a potato cake with buttered asparagus and papaya & lime salad

Discovered Bar Solo today to meet with Perry who is the founder of this really cool Jazz dancing group called Jazzcotech. Bar Solo has nice wooden floors and walls which have rectangular holes in them with nice low level lighting and small decorations which all combine to create a very cosy atmosphere. Perry explained to me that downstairs they have a lounge which is opened at night for their customers, which I'm sure would probably continue this cosy feel to the place. The staff are also very friendly as you can tell by the attached picture of Marion, make sure you say hi to Marion on behalf of TrustedPlaces when you're around the area.

Bar Solo offers good coffee and I also understand that they make a wicked brunch. Will have to check it out next time I'm around.
