This is a chain Italian restaurant and the do fairly decent pizza & pasta dishes.
Start your meal with yummy dough balls dipped in garlic butter or perhpas Aranchini (rissoto balls deep fried).

Then either select a pizza dish priced between GBP6 - 8 or perhaps a pasta dish (more limited choices) around GBP7 otherwise they do a great salad with strips of garlic bread for GBP7-8.
In the picture you can see I had a salad very healthy indeed!! never mind the dressing :-) which can be on the side

The restaurant always has a nice atmosphere and looks very appealing with white and blue tablecloths.

This is a chain restaurant & I have been to various branches in London & found the food to be of a similar quality. Over the years of visiting pizza express I have noticed the pizza's have got smaller. But then again I'd rather eat a smaller pizza topped with healthy toppings I can taste then a large rubber cheese topped pizza.
