This gastropub is located in a fashionable area of town where many previous good pubs have now become trendy restaurants -but not this pub: - this one still remains true to its cause!
The pub is an attractive mix of traditional-local and modern-foodie gastropub. It has a good variety of lagers, ales and wines and continuously serves stonking good food (of both British and International dishes) at fantastic value for money! The pork, spinach and herb terrine with red onion marmalade and toasts was a delicious starter and The 'Fabada'⬠Pork and bean stew with chorizo, pancetta, tomato & paprika that I had for my main course was truly one of the best Fabadas I have ever had!
