cheap fun by carum

Tickets start from about 1 pound 50 here which a heck of a lot cheaper than the Odeon round the conner. The movies always tend to be older or cult release that have finished their run in the bigger cinemas. I sometimes go here with friends when I am out in London as it is nearly always showing a good film despite only having one screen. Also the seats are great and really comfortable. Beneath the cinema thereâ¬"s a bar and you are allowed to bring drinks into the showings.

Old school cinema - cheap and cheerful by Niamheen

Cheap, very cheerful and old school in every way, they've even got jumbo seats. It shows 4 different films every day, they've usually been out a while, and it gives me an opportunity to catch all the ones I missed when they first came out on the big screen. There's a little bar, so, should you fancy, you can have a drink while you watch your film. They do the singalonga stuff which isn't really my scene, but lots of people seem to like it. They often have very good Q&A and charity documentary screenings too. It's one of my favourite spots in London, highly recommended.

Classy offbeat venue by greedoe

Excellent list of art house films that change daily, and if you're a member they're only £1.50. Try to find value like that anywhere else in the west end.

Only downside is the seats aren't sloped, so if you have a tallie ahead of you, you don't really have the benefit of being above him.

Still, great place, great load of films and great events.

The Prince Charles Cinema by lva

Films usually come out at the Prince Charles a couple of months after they're on at other cinemas.

I love the Prince Charles Cinema very much. I love everything about it except for its slightly dank smell.
