Review by sue

Rating: 3.00
Tags:
Casually sitting next to the award winning restaurant Chez Kristof is the Chez Kristof Deli....an oasis in a city of chain cafes. It is just a few minutes walk from Hammersmith Broadway, but a million miles away from the other food establishments in the area.

The deli is only a small place, with shelves stacked high with all sorts of gourmet delights, fresh bread stacked in the window, and tasty treats in the display cabinet at the rear. Along the middle of the deli is a long communal table, plus there is additional seating out the front.

It is a great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. It is usually pretty busy and service can be slow&.but as long as you bring along the paper (or read the ones provided) you can amuse yourself while you wait.

They do some hot breakfasts, and have a range of fresh made sandwiches and frittatas available later in the morning. I can also recommend the Croque Madame's and Crepes (especially the lemon & sugar one!). Coffee is usually pretty good, and once you have finished you can stock up on some fresh bread or pastries to tide you over for the rest of the day/weekend.
