Pizza Al Rollo is a relatively new pizza restaurant that is located in Richmond which offers pizzas by the yard. I do really like this method of serving pizza, itâ¬"s very innovative and quite authentically Italian, Iâ¬"ve been to restaurants in Italy which do the same. The pizzas were OK but not great unfortunately ⬠to be honest I much prefer the taste of Strada or Pizza Express pizzas to these. Pizza Al Rollo is great for large groups as there are long bench tables and the pizzas are really easy to share.

The pizza here is really tasty and we have always enjoyed it. Our favourite is the goats cheese and caramelised onion.

Sue is right about the service - if they are busy you really won't get much - but when you do they are really friendly!

A mid-week dinner with friends was on the cards and the venue was Pizza Al Rollo in Richmond. Pizza Al Rollo serves up stone baked pizza by the yard and when we visited it was filled with families and groups of friends enjoying a cheesy treat.

Service wasn't that great - they forgot our drinks and it was near impossible to ask for the bill, but at least the staff were friendly when we finally got their attention!

Seeing as the restaurant specialises in pizza it seemed silly not to order them, so we did! Oh, actually we started with a large Anti-Pasti Board, which consisted of Italian meats, cheeses and dips served with pizza bread.

The pizza's we ate were the Crispy Duck with hoisin sauce, the Goats Cheese with sweet chilli sauce, the Fiorentina with spinach, eggs and olives and the Parma Ham.
