I have visited this place because it is one of the few places that serves coffee after 11pm and after a trip to the cinema or after work, my friends and I like to have a chat and warm up. But the service here is dire. The cakes/coffee I had on a previous visit were decent and prices ok for the area - but staff have always been surly and rude. On the last occasion I visited Fiori (and the last time I will ever go to this terrible place) I ordered coffee and after about 15 mins the waitress came back and said that there was no coffee! So I expressed incredulity that a cafe should have no coffee, but was told to order something else. So I ordered a danish pastry - after 5 mins was told I couldn't have that either. After looking at the menu for a third time, the waitress said that I could only order food (ie a main meal of pasta or steak, costing about £8) which I didn't want. When I asked for coffee and pastry, reminding the waitress that other people behind me had coffee and cake, I was told that they had come in earlier than me so were allowed those items. Seeing as the place was half empty and people were not queuing up to eat at my table, this seemed ridiculous so I complained and was told to leave, with the waitress saying 'we don't need customers like you'. I'd have to agree with Walid on the unnecessary unfriendliness of the staff. To be honest, that was the only thing that I didn't like about Cafe Fiori.

The place is warm and cosy. Breakfast quality was great: Hot, fresh and tasty. But for the love of mankind, girl, smile a little. Or at least act like you don't want to chop my head off or stick a fork into my eyes!

It's not that much of a crime when you ask why crispy bacon is fifty pence cheaper than bacon, is it?

You be the judge: "scrambled eggs with bacon and toast" is £7.50. "scrambled eggs with CRISPY bacon and toast" is £6.95. When I asked why, the respond was "Wodoyoumean? One is crispy. Other one is not!" No $hit Sherlock!

And then in the end, there was the rude "+15% service" written with pen at the bottom of our bill. I've seen many restaurants doing this. But it's usually accompanied by a simple "thank you" or something. Not cool, again.

Anyway, it's a real shame as I liked the food quality and atmosphere of the place. The prices were also fair, considering that we're talking about Leicester Square here. But for me, service is just as important.

For some reason this place has been reviewed as an Italian restaurant and whilst the name sounds Italian I really don't see how the food in this place it's Italian. I would say it's perhaps international as the best food that's in Fiori Corner are the kebabs. Most kebabs in London look like cheap recycle meat all lumped together. The ones at Fiori are not only very tasty but actually look like proper meat. The service is slow and the staff unfriendly. The inside is alright but nothing incredible.
