It was faintly depressing.<br /><br />Ah the Birdcage, one of those pubs thats been there for ages, probably hasn&#39;t ever changed. Probably once a pillar of the community, now caters for a mix of locals, city types, students, wide boys and the tight trousers crowd. Always friendly service, never that packed that you can&#39;t move. A decent standby place for a cheeky pint.<br /><br />Live music and karaoke from time to time.<br /><br />And no, I don&#39;t find it depressing these days.]]></description>
