If you are in Euston and stuck for a late lunch, "The Rocket" could be your answer. Its the very definition of cheap & cheerful.

My Ultimate Cheesburger is £5 and very filling (comes with fries) and my £3 pint of Staropramen is absoultly delicious. No doubt they go through a lot of beer at this place.

Its a large, rough at the edges Pub, that feels welcoming. All in all a decent place to tie on the ole' feedbag!

This pub is populated exclusively by students staying in the halls around Tavistock Gardens (Hughes Parry, Canterbury etc) and by people who go there to beat up students. Nice! It plays loud, awful pop music and serves crap drinks at student prices. You will probably love this place if you are the kind of person who likes drinking Carlsberg and headbutting people, or who likes doing karaoke to Christina Aguilera; otherwise you may want to kill yourself. Great student night out esp on friday and saturday, there can be queues to get in due to the popularity of the place!! Great for a cheap night out, the drinks are cheap with a yellow card which are free for students. There is a jukebox and pool tables, later on, the pool tables are moved to make way for the dance floor and dj.
