Mirch Masala in Tooting (the centre of the Indian community in London) was opened in 2004 and quickly eclipsed the many local establishments in the quality of its cooking. Set in a simple and unpretentious cafe, it turns out delicious freshly cooked North Indian fare. Nothing exceptional on the list; just the usual, but very well executed.
