Haandi is less well known than Indian restaurants like Benares, yet it has a higher rating in the Good Food Guide. It cooks authentic Punjabi cuisine, and has a sister restaurant in Edgeware. The tandoori dishes are outstanding e.g. chicken burra tikka, and it is very strong on vegetable dishes, which it avoids making into a mush as so often happens. Paratha is the best bread here.
