Amaya is supposed to be about Indian Street food , little plates to share etc.

The food is very good especially the Tikkas like Chicken and Hamour (a fantastic fish common in the Arabian Gulf and I guess the Indian Ocean too )

However the positioning of this establishemnt is very much to be th Indian Nobu or the Indian Hakassan - a beautifully designed restaurant with wonderfully turned out staff.

The service unfortunatley is not up to scratch (or Nobu) and the food despite being very good cannot be said to be good value - portions are also very small so you need to order a lot unless you are like many of the guests Knightbridge shoppers who don't really eat
