A sunny afternoon is the perfect day to visit as you can enjoy the sun in its outside seating area. There are live bands performing on some days and no, there are no extra charges. The seating inside is comfortable with couches here and there, but the lighting is bit dark. I guess that adds to the overall underground appeal. The bar is so-so with regular beers on offer, nothing special.

A cool , trendy joint and will be specially liked by the young crowd. I would strongly recommend the Vibe Bar if for a lazy afternoon drink in a relaxed ambience

At night it has a great buzz about it and they're good with bookings for large groups-- I've been there a few times for birthday celebrations and they've always been good about reserving an area for us. The music is quite fun, though sometimes quite generic.

In the afternoon it's nice to sit outside and have a few drinks-- if it's nice out there's a good buzz as there are so many people and it's such a big place. Definitely recommend it!

Good vibes! by izolda

Vibe bar has a nice, relaxed atmosphere and a very funky, underground, grungy style which I thought really fit in with the neighbourhood. I went with a group of friends on a Sunday and we enjoyed a live band performance which was quite good given that there wasn't an entry charge or annoying surcharges on drinks. Before the band started playing we also got up for a dance with my friends without feeling like idiots or that people were staring. Very affordable, cool, unpretentious, hip and fun. A great place to meet interesting people.

The atmosphere was strangely quiet when we stepped in, but I soon realised that was because there was a young bloke on stage about to launch into an audience participation beat boxing activity. It is pretty unnerving to be asked to impersonate a snare before you've even got your first drink.
Once settled on some comfy seats, we listened to about an hour of AMAZING human beat-boxing by 3 different artists - one of them a girl with a crazily good voice. Again, a bit confusing but very impressive. There was a brilliant vibe in the place, laid back but funky. I don't know how the night progressed because we left when the entertainers did at about 10pm but I will definitely be going back.

There is a large outside seating area with traditional pub garden tables. Being on Brick lane there is often some kind of street entertainment to enjoy and even a tasty pie stand which mean you don't even have to leave to eat. I recommend the Heidi pie with mash and mushy peas with a bit o' gravy. Nice. The atmosphere is very relaxing.
Inside there is a different atmosphere, with a rock club feel. There are often live bands and the place never seems too busy. It aint posh, but it me nicely.

Laid-back Brick Lane bar by NikoTheFinn

The bar is housed in the old Truman brewery, and has a definitely non-uptight feel to it. Arcade games, scruffy leather sofas and friendly staff make this place ideal for commencing your Brick Lane activities. When the weather is nice, there is food served in their large courtyard, which is open all year round. In the cold winter months, there are heaters and large parasols to keep you dry and warm. The courtyard is also a perfect place to keep an eye on the queue for 93 Feet East, literally across the road from the Vibe Bar.
