Whilst the words of reviewers on this website is often a good measure of a restaurant, I probably should open with the fact that none other than the Observer voted Marco at Milano inside the top ten Italian restaurants in the UK, and the Guardian placed it 15th of the 100 best for al fresco dining.

Now that I can fully justify my 5-star rating, I probably need say no more - but then that would not be suffice to the task in hand!

One thing I must stress (and you've probably worked this out from the above accolades) is that a meal here comes at a price. My wife and I dined here recently, enjoying three courses and bottle of wine... totalling to around £100 for the total bill. A lavish meal, but one we shall not forget for quite some time.
