At first glance you would think One Paston Place was a romantic and posh venue. I'd say one of those is true if you think cost equals poshness!

Don't get me wrong i was a great night out, but as has already been said in one earlier review, you don't get a minutes peace! Attentive waiters are usually a good idea when they aren't in your face, but somehow we both felt it was overdone here.

That said, the food was amazing and well worth the constant interruptions! The tastes were out of this world.

Pretty formal atmosphere - although more relaxed (and better value) at lunch time when they do a set lunch menu. In the evening it's best behaviour time, but the food is worth it. They make their own bread and petit-fours and the most amazing amuse bouches. It's not very big and the tables feel quite close together when they're full. Truly splendid food and first class service.
