Desperate place. note to manager - throwing sawdust on the floor does not create a cosy atmosphere when your staff are rude and confrontational. wine is way too expensive for the surroundings, the clientele reflect directly on what has become a gathering place for middle management on 'cheeky' friday boozed up lunches, and strange tourist who mistakenly think they have stumpled upon a historic gem.
the toilets (you can tell a lot about a place by its toilets) are reminiscent of my grandfathers bathroom - delightful shades of dirty green and blue and lino with holes in it.
you'd be better off in Rembrandts - a classy place where you can get 2 large glasses of wine and a sharing platter for a tenner.

Skinkers is right next to London Bridge tube station, and is a popular after-work haunt for office workers in that area. The pub is in the traditional British style, housed under the railway arches, and is a bit dungeony and cavernous in its feel. They serve traditional British pub food there as well, which is so-so. It gets really busy on a Friday afternoon around 5ish, so if you don't have a great desire to be surrounded by accountants, auditors, lawyers and a variety of other City professionals, then avoid at all costs.
