Modern vietnamese restaurant by lenalouise

Itâ¬"s another Vietnamese place ⬠they seem to be popping up everywhere now. Itâ¬"s a lot more trendy than your typical Asian, family-owned restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised by how nicely decorated it is. Thereâ¬"s one main room with a smaller long room at the back, presumably used for private parties but I can see myself sitting in there in the day sipping on coffee with a good book in the near future!

They have the usual things on a Vietnamese menu⬦ spring rolls, soft shell crab, pho noodle soups, Vietnamese chicken curry and also some dim sum. I wasnâ¬"t too hungry so I went for the Banh Xeo which is a thin, crepe-like pancake filled with pork, prawns and bean sprouts and served with fish sauce and fresh herbs. It was so tasty and actually really healthy as well. I canâ¬"t wait to go again to try the other things on the menu!

Review by janebe

Rating: 5.00
Tags:
Me and the girls wanted a night out where we wonâ¬"t get hassle with cheap pick-up line from the menâ¬"s so we came here with highly recommended by my boss. We booked for seven of us on a Saturday night and turn up to be eleven of us at the door because some of my silly friends invite their friends so I try my luck and the staff was very kind and helpful and said we would have to dine in there Lounge since more of us show up. Great I said and as we enter the lounge area it feel so cosy and relax . We all went for a cocktail each for start and order some starters. As the night went on we had more cocktails, some wine and try Japanese sake for the first time and loving it. Everyone had such a great time we already plans to go back for one of the girls Birthday. To sums it all up, if you want a night out without the hustle and bustle come to Buddha jazz for a girl night out.
