While we were queuing up to be seated, one of the waiter came out and handed out menu so we could start looking at what we wanted to eat. Somehow, the waiter completely passed by and ignored me. I was the only asian in the queue (my wife is scotish), and I couldn&#39;t believe it was happening in London of all places. The thought of it being an one off mistake was proven wrong when we finally reached the door. Again, I was ignored by the waiter until it was obvious I was at the head of the queue and he had to deal with me.<br /><br />Food on the other hand was fine. Not authentic Asian but taste good nonetheless.]]></description>

Who else would be willing to make a virtue of the naff environment, hectic atmosphere, and cost-cutting &#39;factory restaurant&#39; formula?  Who else would pay high prices for the same mix of MSG and egg noodles that they could get for half as much at their local Chinese restaurant?<br /><br />As it turned out, just about everybody in the world would.  Wagamama&#39;s low-cost, high-price version of generic south Asian fusion has ridden the crest of the Japanese food mini-boom of the later 90s and now it&#39;s like the McDonald&#39;s of yuppiedom.<br /><br />So, British people, I apologize.  I thought it was just you.  But it seems there are undemanding eaters all over the world&#33;<br /><br />]]></description>
