This TGI has an atmosphere to die for, non stop excitement and fun and a real friendly approach from the minute you walk in. First of a small word of warning, the TGI can get busy been located right in the middle on London next to the lights of Picadilly. This means sometimes there is a short wait for a table but there is a bar area in the centre of the restaurant where you can do this. Pimlico is a tube stop pretty much close in approximation with London Victoria. When walking in the area you will spot a TGI Fridays. It is OK price wise and menu wise, but the service was a bit shoddy. This reflected the class of area too as the locality was a 'not very classy' to say the least. There was a lot of litter outside and gangs were hanging around so we felt rather unsafe especially as it was a late Friday evening and we were looking for somewhere convenient to dine. If you come across this establishment and would prefer fast food there is a McDonalds along the same line so keep walking and you can't miss it. This has to the busiest TGI but its always well worth a vist, situated right between Picadilly and Leicester Square they get alot of walk in business and sometimes you can be told there is a wait for a table, however the bar in the centre of the restuarant is quite entertaining to sit at as the bar staff are very lively and friendly and are quite often chucking drinks around like in the classic movie cocktail. The food is superb and I have never had a bad meal here, the prices are what you would expect for central London but I would say that the portions are well above avergae, and everything is always fresh and hot. The service is 2nd to none, you will find the staff really friendly, helpful and welcoming. I hadn't ever been to a TGI's before, but having recently returned from a long holiday in America I was in the mood for a Stateside experience.

We were there on a Saturday, so it was pretty busy, but I didn't mind too much as it gave me time to choose a cocktail from the very extensive menu (I finally settle on a Purple Rain because purple is my favourite colour and vodka is my favourite spirit). We were given a numbered balloon to mark our place on the list, and someone came to find us when a table was free. The system seemed to work quite well.

The portions were pretty big of course, but I enjoyed every last mouthful! I had a half rack of ribs with southern comfort dressing - yum. And I swapped whatever was the side dish that came with it for the new onion scoops, which were pretty nice too.

My husband was (surprisingly) full by the time he finished his meal so we couldn't share the mini desserts, which would have been my first choice, but I was very happy with the chocolate brownies that I ended up with!

After scouring the west end for places to eat we came across TGI's, hadnt been there before and thought it looked good from the outside and there must have been a reason for it being so busy! We had a short wait for a table for 2 (15 mins). Once inside the service was fantasic. Although our orders were not taken straight away we were assured by the waitresss she would be along shortly. We had enough time to make our mind up and order the chicken fajita nachos to share to start, steak, cheesey mash and chips as one main and chicken penne pasta as the other we also ordered the refillable drinks. The food was delicous, it arrived in good time and every time our glasses were empty they were immediatley filled up! Total price £39.40!

I used to luv going to TGI Fridays few years back. They use to do really tasty ribs,grilled chicken, steak but i thought the food quality gown downhill now.
