Review by Bravestarr

Rating: 4.00
Tags:
If you are in teh mood for italian, then you'd better head to Little Italy, as you'd expect in Aberystwyth, there arnt too many Italians, but that should by no means take anything away from little italy.

Ghe food there is good, and reasonably priced. Everything you expect to see on the menu is there, you won't be dissapointed by your favourite italian dish not being there!

The restaurant is located in a converted terraced house, which works quite well considering the 'family' feel of Italian culture. Inside it can be quite 'cosy' however there are a good number of tables (booking suring pek tims is advisable to avoid dissapointment).

The staff are friendly and courteous (more welsh accent's than you would expect though)However that doesnt detract from the general ambience!

Overall, even if there was more competition, Little Italy would still be THE place to go for italian, good food, good atmosphere, good prices and friendly staff make for a top notch time.

It's almost essential to book for Friday and Saturday nights as it does get very busy. The whole place is in one terraced house which makes for some fantastic atmosphere and some very cramped seating! You'll want to sit upstairs if you can; the ground floor is even squashier than the first and you tend to get a good gust of sea air blowing in when the door opens.

The owner is very charismatic (a prerequisite for Italian places imho!) but all the people working there are very British and it would be lovely to hear a few Italian accents. Perhaps that's asking too much.

The best Italian meal you're going to have in Aberystwyth... and of course, the only one!
