Happy to check ingredients for cream for my partner who&#39;s lactose-intolerant. Nice atmosphere and although it can be bit noisy when its full, you can usually find a quiet corner. Been there several times and never disappointed.]]></description>

We were quite surprised at how quiet the place was - ours was one of six tables being waited upon - there was plenty of space.<br /><br />The menu was &#39;European&#39; with a French twist - presentation was good and taste was fine.  Staff were happy and courtious (and Polish - is the ANYONE left in Poland these days?)<br /><br />I awarded a good 7 out of 10 overall.]]></description>

A great place for a gossipy dinner with friends, casual work lunch, romantic date&#0226;&#0172;&#0166; Basically for all and any occasion.  Good wine list and also brill breakfast venue - you don&#39;t necessarily have to put those two things together though. Service fast and friendly and the atmosphere relaxed and cosy.]]></description>

Note: 50% off the total food bill - to a maximum of 6 people per Taste card.<p>The Bermondsey Kitchen is a well thought of Bermondsey gastro pub serving a range of cocktails, wines and beers. <p>Chef Ruth Quinlan is arguably one of the London&#0180;s most exciting young chefs, and the restaurant is the place to try her unique take on Mediterranean cuisine.<p>BK pride themselves on the ingredients that are utilised in the kitchen. Fish is brought daily from Essex and wherever possible, non-endangered species are utilised. <br />Meat is supplied by Tim Wilson&#0180;s farm in North Yorkshire which specialises in the traditional rare breeds of Longhorn cows, Tamworth pigs, and Swaledale lambs.The slightly higher fat content in these breeds is one of the reasons for the exceptional flavour. In the last 200 years, many rare breeds have already been lost, for instance Cumberland, Ulster White and Yorkshire blue pigs. In supporting the farmers who bread these animals, BK can help to prevent more becoming extinct.<p>Bermondsey Kitchen&#0180;s unusually open kitchen (probably the most visible in London) emphasises the transparency of food sourcing and preparation which they have focussed on since the beginning.
