They did cater well for the little ones with toys and a tv set up with videos but that is where the good stuff ends. Apart form us there was one other table of 2, getting the first round of drinks took over 30 minutes. The menu on offer on the website ( a set menu) wasnt available and no one apologised about this, it was just a case of oh well we dont do it now, havent done for months. Well dont advertise it then. The food was expensive, not very warm, the portion sizes varied hugely and meals were forgotten. Despite being the only people (apart from a table of two) it was nearly impossible to get the waiting staffs attention and getting a second round of drinks took even longer than the first. we were not even offered dessert or coffee. We will not be back and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, unless you like terrible service and overpriced food.

One saving grace is that they have a beer garden, which I believe may be the former graveyard which has been paved over.

Upstairs there is a restaurant which is reputed to be fairly good, although I haven't used it, and also a theatre. Overall well worth going to if it isn't too busy.
