2 Amici is likely to put you off with its fluorescent signage but Victoria is not stacked with talented local restaurants, so I was keen to persevere to find some local dining spots.

The restaurant setting, odd acoustics (or deaf waiter, one or the other) with its table cloths, slightly cheesy decor, plastic menus and raft of empty tables was slightly off putting.

The pasta seems a good value option whilst everything else looks a bit over-priced.ew

However, I would go back for the simple reason that the food was actually pretty tasty (I had an innovative crab ravioli with chilli & coriander) and in an area with not many options.

Would be better if it was a bit lower key with more emphasis on innovative food.
