Normally with a local restaurant this good I'd keep quiet, but to be honest they're fully booked every night anyway so it won't make much difference! This tiny Malaysian restaurant in a grotty bit of Deptford (by Deptford Bridge DLR) serves utterly beautiful Malaysian food. Run by a couple (Ambrose and Linda) who make absolutely every visitor feel amazingly welcome (honestly, he knows most of the customers by name), the service is fab and the food is great value. I haven't managed to work my way through the whole menu yet, but standouts so far are the drunken chicken (beautifully flavoured with ginger) and the sambal dishes. The noodles and just simple things like dumplings are excellently done.
