I went to Babur a couple of weeks ago. The decor is nice and staff are very helpful and attentive but the food is not up to the mark. All the dishes taste of flour and sugar, like cakes rather than curry! Not what I was expecting. I wouldn't go back which is a shame because they're obviously trying hard.

It is Indian, but it isn't at the same time. The food is decidedly inspired by Indian cuisine but the presentation and actual dishes are of a more European style.
The menu is very creative - you're not getting your standard chicken korma, tikka masala, vindaloo, etc. - and the prices are reasobale. The restaurant is currently celebrating its 22nd birthday! It's been around for a reason.
