The turkish/english crossover menu includes virtually all elements of the 21st century breakfast, served in bustling environs surrounded by newspapers and all manner of flyers drawing attention to the creative side of N16. This place is mythical in Stoke Newington folk lore. Come down here on a weekend morning and itâ¬"s always filled with young, urban, professionals tucking into their English and Turkish breakfasts while pouring over the culture sections from the broadsheets. Somehow this well intentioned Turkish café has become the middle-class equivalent to a working man's caff. So expect good food, a peaceful atmosphere, parents with those buggies with big tyres and a folk-jazz soundtrack. No really, itâ¬"s actually a very nice place to eat. Busy yet relaxed, and the food is consistently great. I am bias to this place as it is my favourite café. The food is so good and cheap and the staff warm and fantastic. The owners are always happy to talk and take every care in making sure your meal is in order. The food here is a mix or European and Turkish. Try their Menemen for breakfast or lunch - it is delicious and a must try if you havenâ¬"t had it before! They also do freshly squeezed juices to cure that hangover!
