However it's well worth the odd brush of a fellow customer as the food is brilliant.

Great size and affordable procing (drink and two courses £25 each)

Our table for two was squeezed in a row of others. The food is a little expensive but decent. Basically, a very Parisian experience (coming from one who lives in Paris...!)

French Brasserie by walid

The decoration and ambiance is definitely one for those to aspire being in up-market venues. The staff is a bit snobbish but professional and efficient, as long as there isn't a full house.

The food is tasty but a bit pricey. I had the fillet steak with the bernaise sauce which was well cooked and tasty. However it wouldn't grab the top prize for the best fillet... go and try Le Relais De Venise L'Entrecote.

Overall I'd recommend Oriel if you are looking for a nice cup of coffee to have close to Sloane Square then go to Oriel.
