I tried the African Queen for the first time yesterday, and although I had to wait some time for my takeaway, and the music was VERY loud, the food was absolutely first rate and VERY reasonable. Ever since I ventured into the place 2 years ago I've been a big fan. At the time I thought I just pop in for a curry with a mate but ended up staying their a full 3 hours after feasting on a huge selection of gorgeous and authentic dishes, whilst drinking and enjoying the company of my mate, the manager and staff.
