My first visit was superb, all my food was gorgeous, the waiting staff were attentive and the atmosphere was electric. On my second visit the atmosphere was just as good with a rather good band playing. The problem with this, though, was it was fairly impossible to have a conversation. I also found the food and the waiters left something to be desired which after our first visit left us disappointed. However, I still rate it fairly highly. I think it's brilliant as a cocktail bar, you never feel cheated on the alcohol! The food is pretty good and not overpriced so I'd recommend it if you're on a tighter budget and aren't looking for haute cuisine! It's an atmospheric venue in the heart of covent garden which is perfect as a starter for your evening but perhaps not your main event for the night.

Not being a fan of Covent Garden restaurants in general, I didn't have high hopes for this venue, but it did exceed my low expectations. I ordered a selection of 3 small dishes as a starter - the King prawn was prepared to perfection, the Jalapeno poppers were fine (hard to get wrong!), but the chicken teriyaki skewer was a bit disappointing in terms of flavour. For a main course I ordered chicken Fajitas - having seen a few sizzlers go past my table I was optimistic when ordering this dish, but when it arrived, it had ceased to sizzle and was cold, dry and over cooked. The grated cheese was not fresh either. Really disappointing! My partner had ribs which were very good though, and the chips were good too!
In terms of ambience, the place has got quite a buzz, but is a bit noisy for those who enjoy a good natter! I would go back there, but only for a quick meal, rather than an evening out..

Live bands feature often playing modern indie and rock classics. Other nights feature guest DJs and some foot-tapping tunes. In fact this one place you'll often the drunken cry of "CHOON! DANCEFLOOR!!" don't be fooled though- this is a classy place with it's usual customers being young professionals (and some middle-aged)and the prices reflect this. food and drinks are expensive and the place gets incredibly busy at the weekend. Overall a great night out but go during the week!

Rammed full of people and atmosphere most nights, this large American-style diner/restaurant transforms itself into a kicking club from Monday to Saturday. Sundays are a slightly more sedate affair yet still cater for a late one, closing at 1am.

Stretching deep beneath the Piazza, it is Covent Garden´s biggest club, offering a mix of seventies Carwash funk and soul right through to classic rock. A great all rounder for the fun loving criminal.

This 50´s American Retro 70´s - 90´s live music venue, bar and American theme restaurant includes a 1952 Harley Davison centrepiece and original signs from the 1940´s/50´s.

Cocktails, rum selection, beers, wine and 100% ground beef burgers, pizzas, fajitas and ´forget your diet´ desserts all feature on the menu. The Roadhouse really is the best cure for a hard day´s work.
