Not sure what to make of this place... by LupusEvolve

Review by LupusEvolve

Rating: 3.00
Tags:
Chicken Spot is right next to my sister's workplace, so we sometimes meet for lunch and we occasionaly go to Chicken Spot.

Now I've nothing against fast food as it is, so I'm not instantly biased against this place. But the first word that pops into my head to describe Chicken Spot is "inconsistent".

The first time we went there, the food was actually quite good (as fast food goes). The chips weren't ridiculously greasy, and the chicken burgers actually tasted good (lots of lettuce, to make you feel slightly healthier, as well).

So we were happy to return to Chicken Spot a few weeks later. Not a good idea. The chips were just grease in a bag, and the chicken burgers were made to match. Biting through the chicken, it was found to be oddly (and worryingly) pink.

I don't know what happened, but we were served by the same people, so I'm rather confused. Either way, we're not going back for quite a while now, and then we'll just buy one portion of chips to see what's going on, and go from there.

At least it's cheap.
