Fabulous range of freshly prepared, home cooked food. Menus veer towards the healthy but there is something for absolutely everyone, including the adventurous - beetroot sponge cake anyone?

Superb setting, simply decorated (spectacularly simply at Christmas time actually), disabled and child-friendly.

Take a break from fell walking in the Winnlater Forest and pop into the Siskins cafe! Charming caff with excellent coffee, cakes, lunch and snacks on offer. You can sit outside on the balcony and birdwatch, or just enjoy the beautiful scenery all around. The visitor centre also houses live feeds from various nests in the area, and a decent book/gift shop.
