Well, some snacks might be nice, rather than just a selection of crips and Cheesey Moments. ;)

A local pub for local people...old fashioned but not smelly. Nice bunch of people - you get all sorts in there. Newly renovated pub - which looks much better than it did before. Pool table, regular live music (sometimes good) and a casual/easy going atmosphere. new landlord seems friendly and it appears to be worked on/improved every time I go past it.
