I found a Christmas custom gingerbread house, in Los Angeles California from a bakery I love.
I went to this bakery web site a month ago. I had a job to come up with a custom Christmas gingerbread house that would look like our corporate office building for my corporate event this month. The staff was curtious, afficent, and kept an eye on all the details. They just emailed me the proofs of the gingerbread house they are making for our company in Los Angeles California. My Execâ¬"s are all content, and ordered a few more for the local parties that we are having at the satellite offices, in New York, Arizona, Florida, and New Jersey. I am in the pink, Christmas bonus is in the bag, thanks.

This is my second venture into Korean food. The first was a small Manhattan dumpling restaurant. The second was Kum Gang San in Flushing NY.
After we ordered our appetizers and main entrees, the staff started bringing small plates of different vegetables and small dried fish, sauces, Kimchee, Squid, tofu, and a sweet yogurt sauce. 15 plates in all! Then came the food. WOW!
For appetizers we had Hae Mul Pa Jun, Korean style crispy rice flour pancake made with finely chopped assortment of sea food and scallions. Excellent. We also had Man Do Gui,pan-fried vegetable or beef dumplings.
I had Yook Hwe Bibim Bap, Raw marinated beef strips, on top of steamed rice and assorted raw vegetables. The meat was delicately seasoned and the vegetables provided a fresh, light contrast to the meat. I was a bit surprised at the raw egg yolk on top, but I mixed it all in and was pleasantly surprised by the mingling of flavors.
My son had Cod roe soup. Made with whole roe sacks, assorted veggies and a delicious fish broth. The fish roe had a pleasant flavor (not fishy) but the texture was grainy, like sand. A texture that takes some getting used to. The service was friendly and staff took the time to explain all of the side dishes.

We LOVE the food from Fontana's and the speed and efficiency of the service-- both takeout/delivery and eat-in-- is great. Their spanakopita is fabulous-- enough for 2 servings, rich and dense and yummy with fresh spinach, onions, and feta cheese.
Their Greek platters (our faves are the chicken souvlaki, the sausage and gyro, and the Fontana Special) can't be beat-- order with the rice or with the lemon-roasted potatoes for a really nice treat. Burgers & salads are also really, really good.
We've been coming here for over 20 years and have never been disappointed once. This year, they added local delivery which has been simply wonderful! We've been ordering from Cavaleri since they opened. I have to say that their pizza is the best we've EVER had-- and we are NY natives who grew up in Queens and KNOW great pizza when we eat it. Their entrees are also fabulous-- our favorites are Chicken Toscana, their fried calamari, the Baked Ziti al Forno-- it's hard to say WHAT'S best, everything is so very good. The delivery guys are very pleasant and efficient, too. We LOVE Cavaleri and know that you will, too!

DO NOT go to this place, I'd rather go to Bayside Diner or Bluebay Diner.

The jackson hole in bay side on bell blvd has great burger, just like any other jackson hole restaurants, but their staff are the worst I've ever dealt with.
Their burgers are HEAVENLY! every single time! Their milk shakes are to die for! Their fries could be crispier though.
As for their waiting staff, I always have to wait at the door for a table, even if the place is empty, their waitress is always busy txting on her phone, or chatting with other staff. She would look at you, then turn away and go back to whatever she was doing. Usually after a 5 minute wait, we would get a table, then their waitress comes by right away asking if we are ready to order. If you know what you want, then that's great, if not, she'll walk away and takes about 15 minutes to come back and ask if you are ready to order. The food is great, but while you are eating, that same waitress would always walk by to see if she can drop the check. And she usually disappears after dropping the check, I guess she doesn't really care about if we pay the bill or not, but she would look at you and turn away, as always.
The last time we were there was the worst, we couldn't finish half of our order, so after we chase down our waitress and paid the bill, we sat there for a good 20 minutes hoping that either a bus boy or a waitress would come and pack our left over, but all of them would just take one look at you and turn away. We were so upset that we left without our left over, nor a tip.
The outside temperature was 35 degrees yesterday, and there was no heat in the restaurant, all of their eaters had their jacket on. I've never been to a restaurant that would not turn their heat on and let their customers freeze!
Never again!
