Just had a takeaway from this place - absolutely marvellous, pizzas filled completely to the edges with tomato and cheese, half and half between deep dish and thin crust, plenty of toppings, order your own choice if you want. Manager/owner comes out, talks and gives you a can of pop !!

We ordered some pizza and garlic bread at the weekend from Salsa Pizza, in York. It came in good time but I have to say it was horrible. The dough was tasteless and the sauce poor. The worst part was probably what I assume was cheese - it was like melted plastic and tasted slightly worse than it looked.

Unfortunately my Â£5 kebab was so dry it was almost impossible to eat. The naan bread was rock-hard and the chicken was so dry it was also rock-hard and tasteless. The lamb shish was better but still quite disappointing. We received a free tomato garlic bread, which was nice of them, however it tasted like margarine so we couldn't eat that either.

I was starving hungry, travelling through York, when I saw a sign for "Hunger Hut" so stopped by and was met by the most friendly owner you could wish for, who cooked anything I wanted fresh and very tasty.

Highly recommend anybody to stop by for a bite.

Just enjoyed fish and chips from this takeaway,
Tasted good, staff were friendly and good value for money, so recommended on your visit to York. It is a short walk up Petergate turn right from York Minster, so easy to find.

I can vouch for efes without any doubt at all its the best kebab, very good price and generous portions indeed.

Im not a fan of this type of place anyway, what with the ignorant cliental that it attracts, I find that the staff are very rude and ignorant when comapred to other fast food places, especially a curly haired woman who works there, she just seems to look at you in a weird way. I can't see this place lasting long really, the food is not that great and the burgers taste burnt. The name of the place that I don't even want to say sounds crap too. They should just pack it all in, a few of these places have shut around York anyway. They mainly attract stupid men who are usually chavs. The last thing is that whilst its rivals are waking up to healthy food, this place is still in the past. This is in my opinion the best Chinese takeaway in York the curry generally chicken curry is absoulutely superb.
