Went here for a meal and keep going back. The meals are fantastic, home cooked, great variety and ample portions. The Vegetarian options are unbelievable as lots of choices and varied options too. I really like the Tontine, the staff there always seem very friendly and approachable despite sometimes being completely run off their feet. Prices are pretty reasonable and the location is great. Centre of Ironbridge with tables scattered round outside looking directly at the bridge across the road, its a great place to people watch when the weather permits.

The food served is pretty good too for a pub menu, always tasty and good value too, no complaints there. Its mostly because the staff are so friendly that we always call in for a drink even if we are only in Ironbridge to pick up takeaway or passing through.I really like the Tontine, the staff there always seem very friendly and approachable despite sometimes being completely run off their feet. We sometimes visit Prior's Lodge at lunchtimes from work, it can be a bit hit and miss in terms of whether you get your lunch in time to actually eat it and enjoy it but the food is generally standard pub grub and good value.

Friday lunchtimes can be complete chaos if you want to order food and I suggest you go early (before 1pm) if you have a tight hour to get back to work in. The sandwiches and light bites menus are varied and ive never had a meal that didnt hit the spot for a lunchtime bite. This place is a real gem and the food is outstanding. I have had takeway and eat in meals from this restaurant nestled in the heart of Ironbridge and they have never disapointed! Very close to the bridge itself which makes it a nice evening out, we quite often go and sit outside the Tontine for a quick drink while waiting for our takeaway.

What really appeals to me is that all their meals (as well as being very very tasty) are free from MSG, meaning there are no nasty additives or flavourings in them. The food really is delicious and I can highly recommend both the classic red and green curry dishes as well as some I have never heard of before such as Ayuthaya beef which has become a favourite.

The pad thai noodles are always really good and the portion sizes are huge, the prices are also very very good. Best thai food in the area, in my opinion.This place is a real gem and the food is outstanding. A fantastic place, in the heart of Ironbridge (just next to the Post Office). Very old worlde, with lots of traditional charm and decor. A fantastic menu of light snacks and larger meals, much of it home made. Also, an excellent selection of home made cakes for delicious afternoon teas! The staff are absolutely fantastic - fiendly, helpful and always happy to offer advice on their HUGE range of different teas on offer. Best of all, a small shop attached to the tea rooms sells all the various teas for you to take home, and their hundreds to choose from! The shop also holds a fantastic selection of foods and sundries. The only downside is that the tea shop has no toilet - you have to use the public toilet next door! This is a local pub which is ideally located for local houses. There isnâ¬"t a bad range of drinks which are reasonable prices. The decor is ok, although could do with some updating. The toilets are reasonable although there are no changing areas for babies. The pub seems to welcome families but not provide highchairs or childrens menu! The food they serve is ok, nothing gastronomic but is ok for a quick meal. The prices of food vary some reasonable some overpriced â¬ eg pasta dishes. Burgers are good. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Overall not bad for a quick bite to eat and a pint. Parking is ample. this is a little local chippy near wellington. It has good opening hours. The staff are friendly. There is a good range of food which is cooked to order if you order on entry. But also a lot of the normal bits â¬ cod, haddock, fish cakes, sausages recently cooked and keeping warm. They do a lot of good kebabs and burgers which are yummy. The chips are normally of a good standard. The prices are reasonable and the service is good, you never have to wait long. Rating: 4.00This is a great and reliable Indian takeway. The staff on the phone are always courteous and efficient. They offer a takeaway or delivery service. I use the delivery service which is always prompt and the food is hot. I think they serve a large area but this doesnâ¬"t seem to delay any order. The menu is good with everything you would want (kormas, dupiaza, baltis, tikka dishes). The vegetarian range is good to. You seem to get free onion bhajis (2) with each order so that is very welcome. The prices are reasonable and the food tastes really good and we have tried a lot of the menu! This is a good Chinese/Cantonese takeaway. The menu is quite extensive and has a good range of meals â¬ chow meins, black bean sauce to speciality dishes. There is a good variety of starters to choose from and i can recommend the prawn crackers. The vegetarian menu is good (more range than some). The prices are reasonable. They deliver to your door for a small fee . But if you order online through the website they deliver your order for free. This is one of the smaller mcdonalds. It is open early which is always a bonus after early morning sale shopping! The staff are relatively friendly. Drive through seems to get priority so you can sometimes wait quite a while for your order â¬ especially if they say they will bring it over! Parking can be a nightmare during the day as it has a small car park which other restaurants customers do use. The restaurant is clean and tidy and toilets arenâ¬"t too bad. Prices are reasonable and the menu is quite extensive if you eat meat/ fish - not many vegetarian options and it can get a bit samey after a while. Not had a bad meal yet! The delivery charge is reasonable and is usually only 30 mins top between ordering and it arriving at your door. Staff are friendly and always willing to help. Parking can be difficult if you wanted to collect your order as on main road with not much off road area so delivery is probably best. Closed on Mondays otherwise open 6 days a week.This is a good reliable takeaway, food is ok nothing amazing. There wasnâ¬"t much of a wait for the food which was nice. I think it has been updated recently as dÃ©cor was relatively modern. Toilets are ok, nothing to write home about. The location is good near to two mixed retail parks. Parking is fine not normally a problem. The only problem i had was my desert had a forest fruits topping which was meant to be melt in your mouth but the fruits were frozen hard, when challenged the staff said they were meant to melt on desert â¬ well clearly hadnâ¬"t been out of freezer long enough to do that!The food is ok nothing special. The restaurant is very nice but small so booking is needed. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed but elegant. The staff are friendly. The food is good but is on the pricey side so save it for one offs rather than regular venue. It has a lovely location in ironbridge. Parking is only on nearby streets or car parks. Service is good and timely given all the food is freshly cooked to order. There is a good range of both meat and vegetarian dishes on the menu and I am sure if there was nothing you liked just ask the chef for an alternative. This pub has a great restaurant attached called JENKOâ¬"s. it is a Mongolian bbq. Basically you can order side bits but the main point is to take a bowl and fill it with a variety of meats, fish and vegetables (lots of veggie sausage and tofu available for vegetarians) then add some spices form selection then some sauce/ liquid. They have sample ideas on wall to help you create a dish. Then take the bowl to the huge hotplate (bbq) where the chefs take it and cook it in front of you whilst you chat to your friends then you can help yourself to as much rice, noodles or pasta as you want. The idea is to go up lots of times trying lots of small different combinations.
It is very social and the food is fab!

A great village pub in nice location whihc serves great food. The pub is small but this is part of its charm. They serve a good range of drinks and you can eat in the bar or in the two small rooms which form the restaurant. Booking is recommended as the restaurant can get busy. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food that is served is amazing, al a carte and I cannot recommend highly enough. I have eaten here three times and it was out of this world on each occasion. It is reasonably priced for the quality that you get. The menu has something for everyone and the sausage board is a must â¬ where you choose your sausage (form a variety available) then your mash and then your gravy. This restuarant is lively and a fun place to eat. The staff are very friendly and service is very good. If there are no tables available then you are given a buzzer thing that flashes when a table becomes available, meantime you wait in the bar. There is a good range of food from italian pizza and pastas to burgers and salads. All of which are very nice. There is a good childrens menu which is great value for money. The food is all cooked fresh and is delicious. parking is ok unless everyone is at the shops and taking up the parking places.

Visited whilst still undergoing complete refurbishment the hotel still managed to offer a range of accommodation and dining options. Situated s few miles to the south of Telford itself the location is ideal for those wishing to visit the various attractions of the Ironbridge Gorge Museums and discount tickets for the attractions were available from the hotel.
Rooms have been completely refitted with clean clear lines to the furniture and comfortable furnishings in neutral shades. Dining options included a formal dining room with varied menu and a selection of bar snacks. Breakfast was served in the main dining area with the majority of cooked items served buffet style but eggs cooked to order. All food was well prepared and presented and the whole experience was relaxed and welcoming.

The Bridge Builder is one of the Spirit Group. Upon entering you are greeted by a large bar that is always well staffed with friendly people.

To the left are places to sit and eat, hit boxes and fruit machines, and stools at the bar. There are also toilets that are kept very clean and have mirrors if you want to check on your makeup!

To the right is the main eating part. There are cozy tucked away places and big sofa-style seating or wooden olde table and chairs. There is also an entrance to the Whacky Warehouse kids play area. They have a frontal part for takeaway foods with free salt and vinegar to take too and lots of refrigerated drinks. There is now also a salad bar which is excellent with jacket potatoes.

I have always loved the cakes counter which features lots of lovely baked items at good prices. They have a milkshake machine and also serve freshly made ice creams. The menu is always well displayed with prices that are quite reasonable for the home cooked style food and a peaceful sit down.It is hard to find places to eat when you have a wheelchair user present but Sidolis is perfect.
