Rating: 4.00I visited Hedworth Hall for the first time last month, when I attended the evening reception of a friend's wedding. The venue was large, with a lovely sitting area and bar when you first enter the building. This area has lots of low sofas and looks very relaxed - a perfect way to allow the main room to be filled with tables. Through some double doors was the main reception room. It was very large, with a dance floor area that was also used for the buffet, and a raised DJ area, which was a lovely touch. There was also a small bar in the main room, selling just a couple of draught products and some bottles. There was a door leading from the main room to a plain but functional outdoor smoking area, and the room was decorated beautifully.
