What a find, get little Italian, lovely warm atmosphere. Great host and the food was really really good. I went a couple of weeks ago, had scallops to start with spinach and loved every mouthful. Followed by lamb chops with veg and the best gravy every, and the meat was cooked to perfection, and finally couldn't leave without trying the chocolate and almond cake, which was heavenly and no gluten in it so it wasn't heavy at all. We have been searching for a good honest, Indian for a while now. Having exausted our own area (Weymouth & Dorchester) we found Tatnam Tandoori on this site. Their own website was really nice too. Don't be put off by the residential setting. It was really good. The staff were just so friendly, chattting nicely to locals coming in for a take-away. Our food was very good and consistant throughout. The Nargis kabab and Lamb Tikka for starters were excellent. The main curries were very good too. Saag Aloo was particularly good. My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Cafe Shore (October 2009). We were shown to a lovely table overlooking the sea. The decor is very sumptuous and trendy. The bar area looks contemporary with nice lighting and furniture. We ate in the restaurant which is situated passed the bar and is elevated overlooking the sea. The food was wonderful and the staff excellent. Especially Tiffany who served us. She was very informative about the menu and attentive. A lovely restaurant. I ate here twice recently, dinner for two in the evening, then a celebration lunch for 9 people. On both occassions the food was superb: freshly cooked and beautifully presented. The staff are friendly and efficient and eager to please. It's not cheap in the evening but the set price lunch is great value. The decor is very smart, the location is great.A lovely restaurant. I love this place! PLeace is very clean, staff are freindly & most importantly the food here is fantastic! Not greasy & filling, food always tastes very fresh.

Although Henry's is now called 'Harry's', it is in the same place and is basically the same thing! They have cut down the menu a bit which I think is a real shame - I used to love it when they ahd all the dishes written up on blackboards around the restaurant - however, they have given it a much needed face lift as it was a bit worn out before. Basically Harry's/Henry's is just a lovly little restaurant serving good old homecooked dishes; they are very friendly and it's often full of locals which is always a good sign. I have been here quite a few times for lunch and dinner, having worked nearby. It can get busy in the evning, but at lunch - watch out - you can be the only ones in there!- Which is quite difficult if you want to have a private conversation or the like! The pizzas and pastas are fine, seem to be quite fresh. The thing with this place is that there isn't relly that much to make it stand out - it's just bog standard all the way through, same old Italian fare. I went here with a group of over 10 mums from school. We booked the table and they had sorted the tables accordingly so we could all sit together. The staff were friendly and the menu was extensive. There were specials available to chose, they didn't mind changing options like "no mushrooms" for some of us fussy mums! We shared starters down the table and wine also. The bill was not over the top for what we all had and everyone had enjoyed their food (and drink). The atmosphere is authentic Italian with lots of Italian memorabelia hanging around the place. Ma's Pizza and Pasta is situated in a beautiful old Georgian house in Poole High Street, just a short walk from Poole Quay. On a hot day, you can do a lot worse than to sit outside on the shady terrace under the parasols eating your lunch, and At Â£4.95 a head, the lunch menu at Ma's is certainly not to be sniffed at.

There's a pretty good choice including the obligatory pizza and pasta (clue's in the title!) plus a selection of sandwiches and jacket spuds. I have been to Christians Bistro once and had a very nice meal. The dÃ©cor is lovely with windows looking out onto old Poole high street. It has a selection of art on the walls and is a very warm atmosphere.

The menu has a great choice, lots of fish/seafood and meats to choose from.. My meal was lovely and I even managed to squeeze in dessert. I went with a group of four people and everyone enjoyed their meals as much as I did. For 3 courses and a couple of glasses of wine, it came to Â£40 which although isnâ¬"t the most expensive option in Poole, it is on the pricey side. With that said, I would go back again but perhaps only for a special occasions.

The Thai restaurant is very nice inside and has a calm inviting atmosphere. I have eaten there a few times and although it isnâ¬"t the cheapest option, the food is excellent and very authentic.

I tend to sway towards the Pad Thai noodles which are the best I have ever tried. I would also recommend the honey roasted duck with coconut rice; it is in a word amazing! There is so much to choose from and there is an option to share a starter platter if you like to try different things. The service is superb and the staff are very attentive. I would say that this restaurant is more for a romantic quiet meal rather than for groups as it is a very peaceful atmosphere.

They also have a takeaway option as well but do not deliver. I have done this a couple of times and the food is always prompt, hot and delicious.

I tend to go to Pizza Express a lot on a Friday evening after work with friends. Itâ¬"s a great place to go for some good wine, quick and tasty food at a reasonable price. It is great for people watching as most of the tables are located by the window overlooking the old Poole town high street. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and is very sociable. It is also a nice place to go as a family. The menu obviously focuses very much of Pizzas, however there are other choices including some very appetising salads. There is a wide choice of pizzas to choose from but I do feel they are a tad of the expensive side for the size. City Bay Views is one of those restaurants for special occasions in my opinion.

It isn't the cheapest place to eat but the quality of food, service and views of the harbour are perfect.

There is an extensive menu to suit everyone's requirements. If you are going as a group or fancy having lots of choice I would recommend the set menus as they offer good value for money and you won't go away hungry.

If you are going for a birthday, advise them beforehand and they will bring out a sparkly dessert and play music to embarrass your fellow diner!

You never feel rushed and the surroundings are second to none. Go and enjoy!

My family of 5 went here on my daughter's 6th birthday last Bank Holiday Monday. This was her choice. There were special menus such as 2 courses for Â£9.99 but these weren't available that day as it was BH. The kids both had a child's menu selection, plenty to chose from, including more adult type dishes also which makes a change as alot of places offer kids either nuggets or sausage and chips! They try to encourage the 5 a day rule too by including vege sticks etc with the meals which is good. The drinks were refills for free which cuts costs! This was for child or adult soft drinks. My 10 month old had a free baby jar provided and heated which was an added bonus. They had highchairs but a modern style contraption that just sits & straps onto the chair so it wasn't very secure or safe in my opinion!Our adult meals were fine, all very American and abit greasy, but I am fussy with food! The children had a fun pack with colouring and stickers which is also a nice touch. I told the waitress it was a birthday so they put a candle in the pud & sang to my daughter, we came hone with a helium TGI balloon too. Well what to say!? It's a Pizza Hut, there is a lot around! They have the same menu...so what sets this Pizza Hut apart from the others!?
Well for one I have only experienced happy and helpful waiters and waitresses. They are always willing to help, bring you extra drinks, any other side orders etc etc.
The place itself is fairly large with different styles of seating. It does cater for a large number of people while still being quite spacious.

I have always loved Taj Mahal 2. It's in a great location, and is very very cheap.

The quality of food is very high for its price. To give you some perspective I ate in a world famous London Indian, where the likes of celebrity chefs dwell, and I'll be quite honest; it didn't scratch upto my loacal Indian! (Taj Mahal 2).

The staff are very friendly and do their best to please you. And like I said before it's a bargain.

After a recent refurb, the restaurant is nicer now, but I still find the seats a bit small, and I'm not particularly big either!

If you're going to go for it, I'd recommend you try the Chicken Tikka Asari. And for dessert try a Mango Lassi. I have always loved Taj Mahal 2. It's in a great location, and is very very cheap.
